Re: unnecessary startup programs

I believe in Word 2002, you follow the same steps as in Word 2000.  I 
don't know all the steps, but I could look if up if you need.  But 
basically, you need to first display the office assistant.  Yes, you 
have to display it in order to disable it.  Then when you're in it, you 
tab or something to the option button, press enter and uncheck Use the 
Office Assistant.
