Hi Tracy,

Following is the path to the folder that contains the dbx files:

c:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\Left
Brace D70 etc\Microsoft\Outlook Express

I realize that this is a bit complicated at first, so you can contact me
privately if you still have trouble finding these. My E-mail address is:

donmoore@xxxxxxxxxxx

    Hope this helps,

    Don

    Hi,
It seems like I've run across this problem before, and my guess is that the
deleted items folder and possibly the inbox are corrupted. When I saw this on a
client's machine a couple of years back, I did a search for the .dbx files,
which are the mail folders. I manually erased the deleted items folder and the
inbox. OE rebuilds them for you. So if you've read everything in your inbox
and deleted items, go ahead and trash both of those .dbx files and let OE
rebuild them.

    Hope this helps.
    Tom

I can't move messages to the deleted messages folder, but I can move them
to other folders. I tried emptying the deleted messages folder and it won't
work either.
