Some combo boxes can be a bit tricky. When you press down arrow to move
through the choices, the current choice will be highlighted. In some combo
boxes, the pressing of the down arrow will open a new web page if this
happens to be the way the web page designer programmed it. By habit, I
always press alt down arrow to open the combo box. 99% of the time, this
will keep the web page from moving to that particular url when you move to
that particular choice. The combo boxes behave differently within an
application.
The "one of six" tells you how many choices you have in the combo box. The
"default" tells you what choice you are currently on.
