I am finding Ms outlook and windows 7 very much a learning curve the computer seems to decide to Group or, or say expand and collapse far more often than xp and Outlook express does, I lost several months emails over the weekend, now I knew they must be somewhere, and if all failed I have an external Hd, but I had to contact an engineer who has some software calledlog me in, and beg him to find my mail, he seems to have got it back, and I
suspect it was tinkering with the view menu, but I was out and left my pc on for him to try,I doubt I shall get a satisfactory explanation from him ,but I wonder if the pc decides to auto archive if a list has too many emails in it? that would be I think the storage capacity, and Ms outlook should have a bigger storage capacity than OE does but Jaws is not to blame Dorothy----- Original Message ----- From: "Becky some remote " <panache71@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>

Hello, I went through my options for handling email. Auto save in Inbox is checked, but my read messages still disappear from the Inbox after exiting Outlook. I created one new folder. My read messages are not in the new folder or anywhere else. Becky
