All that depends on your settings. you can go to the folder view simply by 
using F6.

In both outlook express and Outlook, if you want to go to another folder,
there is a "go to" command that you must press.  It is control Y.

I also notice at least in outlook 2003 which is what I have, that the
messages in said folders (whichever they are) are arranged with the newest
ones on top; that is, the ones with the current dates and/or times are the
first ones you get to when you are in any folder.
