David, Following your instructions, I found Windows Mail on my Windows 7 Home Premium system. Before going to the trouble of trying to get it to work, however, I would like to know how well it works with JFW 12. I don't see it in the Supported Programs list. I do see Windows Live Mail listed, but don't really know how well it works either. I know that there are third-party scripts for Thunderbird, but haven't heard many comments about them on this list. While I am deciding which email program to try on Windows 7, I am still using my old faithful Outlook Express on my XP system. Any comments on the email programs I've mentioned are welcome. I am using JFW 12 Build 522. Its name is windows life mail. Now, I know that outlook 2007 and 2010 does work with windows 7. Maybe you should upgrade. I have configured my Gmail account exactly as stated in Gmail help. I receive the incoming mails, but I can not send anything, without any kind of error message! Any suggestions? (I have imported the settings from OE, and then modified it to the ones in gmail help.) I really prefer to use OE, but I am switching to windows 7 soon. So I am looking for a well accessible counterpart for OE. Can OE be installed on windows 7, instead of windows mail? Any suggestions/comments is greatly appreciated. Cheers! Hamid Yadiel J.
