Again, Adrian is simply telling you something that's part of OE. Now, the
other thing you can do, which sighted computer users don't need such
elaborate instruction for, is just to capture the sender's address by going
to the From line of the header, selecting the sender's address
(home,shift-end) and copying it to the clipboard, then pasting it into the
email you wish to send the person. This, also, is just a normal way to do
this without involving the Address Book. I am *not* trying to convince you
that one method is better than the other, as each has its own purpose. I'm
trying to explain that they're different, is all, not substitutions for each
other. Isn't this clear? Do you think I'm dismissing the Tools menu
approach, or any other method? I'm not. It's so hard to just get an
acknowledgement of what I'm saying in a way that assures me that you see
what it is I'm saying. I'm just trying to be helpful, not argue about
whether this one is good or that one's not good. It's not a case of one or
the other.

probably because either you have too old a version of Jaws, or because you
aren't setting it up right. You must follow the instructions you've been
given more closely, and from what you say, you aren't.

Anyway, good luck.

Actually Yardbird, I just use it as is and its worked pretty well for me for
the past six years. I tried the keyboard manager technique because I really
wanted it. However, on this computer, it didn't work so I was happy to get
Adrian's suggestion which worked. BTW, this kind of message will probably
end up in the "off topic" file of the new rules. Smile, Judith
