uac isn't virus or spy protection its just annoying when its on asking if
you are sure you want to do this or that. and if on, stops some changs you
make from staying.

I'll try that if IT can solve the mirror display driver issue and get
Jaws working again. I am upgrading from XP and am just getting used to

Well this is the first time I've heard of this problem. It is very
unlikely my friend will want to use Remote Desktop with the JAWS.
Also, since she will be using the latest build of 11 (11.0.746) the
display issue is as far as I'm concerned all but fixed. With UAC,
it's simply a case of pressing
alt+y for yes or alt+n or escape to continue or cancel the pending
operation.

I am having problems with a new Windows 7 workstation that the IT
guys are installing at work... I am connecting using remote desktop
and have had periodic "You are not authorized..." messages from
Jaws. I was also having issues installing new programs, such as when
I launched a new Setup, Jaws was getting blown away by the User
Access Control dialog. I asked IT to install the new 746 version and
now I am getting a Jaws dialog saying something like the mirror
display driver is not properly installed. So I have requested them to do
a Jaws repair.

Is anyone using JAWS 11 64 bit having authorization issues? Because
I haven't so far. Using 11.0.746 64 bit. I know a small number of
users had, but didn't know if that was just restricted to 32 bit JAWS.
