From someone who works with sighted people only, not having to press enter
to get into forms mode is going to be a huge plus if and when I can install
this on the work computer. Explaining forms mode to the uninitiated is
always a pain because they just do not get the concept.

Hi Orhan,

Obviously, AutoForm is great for some and not so wonderful for others. The
points I was trying to make are as follows:

1. Machines, regardless of how sophisticated they are built, are incapable
of considering everything the human individual can.
2. FS, to its credit, has given JAWS users a choice; leave AutoForm on, or
turn it off. Many software companies don't write such flexibility into
their software. Sometimes, that is also necessary.

Forgive me for not being more clear in my earlier post.

Respectfully,

Hi Gene,
I'm a power user and I absolutely love auto-forms mode. It was annoying to
say the least that you had to press enter on edit controls, and then get out
of them. This is intuitive for new users as well, and I think it was a good
move by FS. Sure there are some bugds in it, for example, in firefox, when
you press alt + down arrow, a combo box will not open automatically and you
have to press enter.
Not the mention productivity and the sound that they have implemented to
speed up things.
Yes you can turn off auto-forms mode in the jaws verbosity options alongside
with the accompanying sounds.

Best regards,
Orhan.
