I did that when I was trying to update. Problem is that the uninstaller doesn't
have an unnamed button, only the I and Q buttons.

Thank you.

  Hi Bill;

Try the following the next time you need to update.
  1. Set your Screen Echo to all. This is done using Jaws key + S.
  2. When the Flash Player download screen comes up, 1 of the choices Jaws will
say" button " only. No letters, just " button ."
  3. Press spacebar / enter on this unnamed button.
  4. Now, tab to the " I " button & press enter, & tab again to the " I "
button & press enter.
You might have to use your Insert/Jaws key + B, keystroke to hear everything
but, having set your Screen Echo to all text, Jaws should read you something.

This process has worked for me in the past but, it has been awhile since I've
done it. Hope this helps. Take care.
  Mike

Problem is: When I run the uninstaller, all I see is an I button and a Q
button.

Once I press the I button nothing happens, no matter how long I wait. If I
press the only remaining button, the Q button, it aborts. No matter what I do,
it won't uninstall.

    Thank you.

      From an old message:

After too much of a hassle, I found out that the latest version of flash
player does not install over a previous version. You need to uninstall
the previous with a little utility at

I mean the system tray in Windows XP. I'v figured that out, but I'm
still having trouble installing Adobe Flash player even though all of my web
pages are closed, and even Windows Messenger is closed.

what OS are you using? Second, what do you mean by task tray? Do you
mean the system tray or the task bar?

Hi again folks! Well, my wife who is sighted tells me there is more
in the Windows Task tray than jaws is telling me is actually there. Why is
this? How can I see everything?
