Formatting in Microsoft Word

I'm trying to do some formatting in Microsoft Word, but it's not something
I'm very skilled at. Are there any tips or tricks out there for doing the
following
Designing an attractive table of contents and title page
Working with tables in Word
Adding a header at the top of each page
