Since many of us are solely dependant on Jaws and it being as bug-free as possible, I think dealing with these problems sets us somewhat apart from the average sighted user. I know in my case, one bug in Version 6.0 that I did not have in Version 5.1 makes it virtually impossible for me to use MS Word 2003. I'm not currently using Jaws in my work but probably soon will be. If I can't do my job because of a bug in my screen reader, that's a serious problem. Because of that and the amount of money I shell out for Jaws, I do expect a relatively stable program with comprehensive FS support. Suffice it to say that I have nothing but high regard for all programmers and the job they do. I mean that. I can't even imagine how difficult it must be to track down bugs and I'm sure it's impossible to track them all down. And yet, with new problems developing with each update and upgrade, it becomes difficult to justify continuing purchasing the newer versions. With all the comments here on the release of 6.1, I'm extremely hesitant to even bother downloading it. My hope is that FS will redouble their efforts and clean up these new bugs that are cropping up. It's probably a false hope, however.
