To each their own. If I cannot do basic settings and use basic programs in a weekend my style and the program are not compatible. I have used several programs in the past 20 plus years in DOS and Windows, only one can I say I would never have bought and that was Artic WinVision. I won't bore you with the details, but with Jaws, ASAW, ASAP, Vert and others I was able to do basic operations almost immediately, and able to work in a word processing program and send e-mail within the first demo session, or within 30-40 minutes. I could send e-mail with WE, but, I could not seem to configure it to my liking, the keyboard response was slow, the space thing drove me crazy and I guess I am so used to Eloquence now that DEC Talk also drove me a bit crazy. For me, at this point Jaws is the best fit, not to say that maybe some day something else will be better. I was a heavy user of ASAW initially, but when it did not support Word and when it started going down the tubes I switched, so switching isn't out of the question, but not at this time.
