Know what? I've had it with a few things on this list. First of all I've had it with the people who just look for things to bitch about. Even when they find a legitimate problem and given a work around for it they'd rather spend time whining about how lousy the product is instead of looking for other ways to solve their problem.
Secondly, I've had it with the people who are obviously totally ignorant in the workings of a computer and it's software getting on here and shooting their mouths off about how things should work. Half of them can't even install the damned thing correctly, but they can use it enough to tell the world just how bad the program is.
Thirdly, I'm tired of the wanna-be's. Those who know enough to get them selves in trouble and half way back out and think this makes them a professional. I have been in the hardware/software sales and support business since the introduction of the 8086 processor and wouldn't presume to give half the bullshit advice I've seen given here.
And finally I've had it with the ones who get on here just to advertise other products or services. The ones who's only constructive comments are to buy Window Eyes. If you like it so much fine, then go to a Window Eyes list and get the hell off this one.
And last but not least I've had it with you. You sat on your ass for months and let this list go to hell. Now when you have a little time and the inclination to make your self look important you come back on here and start playing hard ass? If you don't have the time to run this list correctly... or don't know how.... turn it over to someone who does. This could be a great benefit to many people who don't have the experience or time to get to know the program in all of it's complexity. It could be a great place to learn the ins and outs of using Jaws to accomplish something other than being a pain in the ass to the rest of us. But you don't have a clue how to make this list in to that kind of place. Perhaps you should take a lesson or two from the former moderator of JFWLite. She not only knew how to use the software, but she knew how to impart that knowledge in such a way that she attracted others with her same skills. This made it heaven for those just starting out.
I guess in short what I want to say is... if you don't know what the hell you are talking about shut up. And unless you can write a better screen reader quit bitching and learn to use this one.

Gee I like the way you put things. Freedom Science Fiction could that be a new name? As to using a different screen reader have you ever stopped to think about the fact that not all people might be rich like you so they can go out and buy just whatever they might want.
Maybe we should all say that everything works just fine and then as the new versions come out there will be even more things that we can say work so perfectly. Wonder how long it would take to make that type of perfect product! Wonder what we could all do with that type of perfect product.
On a serious note. I do not think that anyone on this list is saying that everything Freedom Scientific has done is wrong nor are they saying that everything about Jaws is wrong. I thought this list was to help each other work out things pertaining to Jaws. If all we should talk about is how good it is then there would be no purpose for this list. Am truly happy for you that you are having no problems with Jaws in any version.
