[jawsscripts] Re: MSAA Object Tracking

We might have two separate issues here. The jaws cursor issues probably
does have to do with the games they are having to play because of dreaded
windows 8.
The original problem that got me involved has nothing to do with jaws
cursor. It never could see anything in this noise reduction program. It is
entirely an MSAA object thing. So, I don't really expect the version of
jawsVid.dll is even involved. Though, admittedly, I'm grasping at this
point. I'll try the default switch, once I figure it out.
That function I was calling, SayObjectTypeAndText(), was announcing each
control that had focus, but now, it just says the name of the window, or
object, that contains them, even though, the way he had to put focus in that
dialog, so tabbing around would work, involved a click with the jaws cursor.
As of now, he can find the thing he is supposed to click on, so the jaws
cursor works, for reading. But, the clicking may not. Can't tell for sure.

I stopped upgrading at jaws 14.0.918. The next build broke my jaws cursor.
In order to restore the functionality I uninstalled all jaws on my machine
going back to jaws 11. I then reinstalled jaws 11 and up to jaws 14.0.918
the last version to work. Then I was back to where things were before the
jaws cursor broke. Now I am gun shy about upgrading, it took so much work
to get my system back to the way I wanted it.

Tom Bisset

Well here is a straw, could it have something to do with the video intercept
that 14 don't use.
Because win8 is a whole new game on that subject.
