[jawsscripts] Keypress question

Hello,
It is possible in Jaws scripting simulate the pressing of a key like Shift?
What we need is to simulate the following scenario:
1 - Press and hold the Shift Key;
2 - Press arrow keys to select text;
3 - Release the Shift Key.
The script should achieve the operations 1 and 3...
