Hi Graham

It is Vista Home Premium and the model is Aspire AS2920. Will let you know how
it pans out when I've had a couple of days to play.

Hi Barbara. I would certainly be interested to know how your acer lives up
to expecttations when you get it. I myself am lookign to use a small laptop
and Braille display for work as I've lost patients with notetakers not being
able to read and properly access word documents with tables. I suppose this
one is not really JAWS related unless you get a problem with it. What model of
Acer laptop will you go for and will it be Vista or XP?

  Regards

  Graham

I asked last week for recommendations on the best laptop models to buy. I
wanted to say thanks to everyone who provided feedback on various manufacturers
and their merits and drawbacks. In the end I decided to go for an Acer. I've
had an Acer laptop before and my new desktop is an Acer, so decided to stick
with what works for me. It's one of the new 12" models, so I'm very excited
about getting it as I think it was a fantastic laptop for an even better price.
If it's as good as the spec and the price then I'll be well pleased!

  Thanks again.
