Hi Tom, I can of course try doing as you suggest, but the installation from the CD worked fine until last week when I ghosted the hard drive across. The version I ghosted across and the one I now have on the PC were both taken from my CD of Jaws 8. Is there a particular reason why the download should solve this problem when, until the end of last week, the CD installation was working fine? I only ask as I am becoming convinced that, whilst this problem is particularly affecting/apparent with Jaws, it may have been caused by something conflicting or damaged with say the installation of Windows which has occurred as a by-product of the ghosting process.
