I normally only switch the scanner on just before I want to use it, and have no problems, but occasionally if I use it and then do something else, it seems to 'go to sleep'. If I realise, and use USBKick before trying to use it, it's normally OK, but if I try to use it in this state, DPlngScan normally hangs on the non-response, and from that state, there seems no way back to normality other than a re-boot. USBKick wakes up the scanner, and I can stop and re-load DPlngScan, but the problem remains embedded. hth John -- John Harrison - http://www.jaharrison.me.uk Message sent from a British built Iyonix PC running RISC-OS 5 --- To alter your preferences or leave the group, visit //www.freelists.org/list/iyonix-support Other info via //www.freelists.org/webpage/iyonix-support
