In the past, the earlier list guidelines , one of it was
saying that "a
training programme is left to the party and the resource to
fix up the
modalities". This guideline is not there in the present
one.
Sorry if i am blunt, "was it conveniently ignored"!.
In the present case the HOD wants it to be jointly organised by ILUGC and his
college. It will be some thing like 'DG Vaishnav College and Indian Linux Users
Group, Chennai will conduct the certificate program'.
The technical responsibility of providing trainers lies with us, they will take
care of organisational things. That is why we need a pool of trainers, just in
case someone could not make it on any day, an alternative can be aranged.
