Slow speed :
What are the applications it is slow ( it is net browsing/download/mail etc
)
what is the os in all the systems
in my understanding most of the network clogging problems are due to
unwanted traffic caused by viruses.
If you ensure that the virus traffic is eliminated ( ie if all are running
on Linux else have a good antivirus) then a network with 10 / 100 mbps enet
card and a simmilar ordinary switch stack should not be the bottle neck for
a 120 system network .
if you still have speed issues , i suggest that upgrade the net back bone
connection which probably is the bottle neck.
If the problem still persists , them you may look at upgrading the switches.
