XFS is great, if you have a 64bit kernel, plenty of RAM, stable
hardware and power source.
Data recovery after an abrupt power loss or kernel crash is extremely
difficult. I have lost several XFS volumes (on IRIX and Linux) due
to hardware/power issues -- expect all file/dir names to be renamed
with corresponding inode numbers and moved into /lost+found!
