I agree on this.. I think usability can be measured by the number of
times the user has to reach for the command line. The raw fact of life
is that windows and osx users rarely *have* to use the CLI, whereas
linux users always keep a terminal open at all times.
I realise the power of the CLI (and that is one of the reasons i prefer
linux to windows), but to a more general user, the CLI would hold little
interest.
