I tried the accessrunner pjt in Sourceforge i was
able to load
firmware onto my Airtel 100 CX USB modem and get the

now that u have come so far it is easy now onwards.
br2684ctl -b -c 0 -a 1.32
shud create a nas0 interface for u.
then ifconfig nas0 up 
following which in my debian i just call
pppd call conexant

i am leaving out several minor details since u seem to
really know what u r doing. shud u need help plz dont
hesitate to ask.

airtel uses pppoe, not pppoa.
