True, but try and tell that to the average person when he finds his
printer is not working on Linux. A seasoned Linux user would make sure
he buys compatible hardware, but most people who make a sudden attempt
to shift to Linux would fall back to Windows only because their
existing modem doesn't work etc.
Of course, Linux is not to blame. The OP wanted a list of troubles
people face. Who is to blame, or whether software guys can do anything
is [probably] a different issue :)
