i'd suggest going across to thailand as somebody else suggested - cheap
air tickets, visa on arrival (1000 baht is like rs.1100, and airport tax
of 500 baht on departure - 550 rupees). Cheap hotels. Great city.
And real cheap laptops (15..20k cheaper).
