Mr Benjamin!
Its not for some one who doesn't have time to attend the meeting, but for
people who are from various cities other than chennai who can't come to the
meeting. You can see from the past few mails on getting the T-Shirt through
courier, that there are members for ilugc who stay outside chennai. These
people would be interested to listen to the speech during the meeting. For
such people and for anyone who wants to learn something about linux, we
shall build the portal. For people in chennai who missed the meeting due to
unavoidable reasons and chennaites who are interested in knowing about
linux, we shall telecast the audios in radio.
We should keep in mind that we should somehow draw in the school students
into using linux. So, we shall do the propagation through audio. You would
have noticed that listening to something is easier than reading that and the
concepts that your friends explained you would have got into your mind more
strongly than that which you read from some book. And moreover you would
love to learn hands free.
Comments are welcome.

If the ilugc meetings would be atleast audio
recorded and put up as an mp3
file in the ilugc web or sent as attachment onhte
mailinglist,
We can simply send a Minutes of the Meeting.
I vote for MOM. Just like somebody doesn't have time to attent every
meeting, someone else too does't have time to listen to the whole audio
recording :-) I would really love to read MOM of the meets.
