It was just my suggestion :-). Why I said that was to convince some one to

open source software we should migrate them gradually. Providing open

down their dependance on proprietary applications.
Well, many people do not even know that they are using pirated windows
version...we have to explain the M$ EULA and make people understand that M$
at any time may take legal offense on anybody for using Pirated copies.
Linux is a big jump for many ordinary users. We can ofcourse distribute
Linux
CDs. But as pointed out earlier, they should not end up being coasters.
errr...if we distribute cds, how many would be able to install without any
support :) . Just a thought...anyway i think we can distribute the latest
Ubuntu...not for all, atleast for a few..
While the long term objective can be to Use/Try Linux, to make an immediate
large scale impact, promoting open source applications will be useful.
I agree.
That is my belief, anyway.
