Chennai is a Very big city with institutions like IIT-M and Anna
University. Also, Chennai is also one of the major IT hubs and
Techno-towns. So, its no surprise in seeing tuxians around.
Second, you are looking at a minor population of the chennai's entire
computer-literate population. Even with ilugc, though there are more
than 1000 members, only <50 members are quite active, either through
physical participation or through mailing list.
So, what you are inferring upon is not quite right, IMHO !
