No doubt about that ;-)But seriously, Ubuntu has had some nice ideas, but they are terribly implemented (Unity is just one example, the scrollbars are another, and the menus might become the next).
I recently updated a Desktop of mine to 11.10, and I was at least delighted that they fixed the completely useless menu hierarchy of the earlier unity release. So at least they seem to be improving their faults over time :-)
