Add me to the list of Haiku developers using Linux (though I'm newly converted and still have my BeOS dev box too.) On my fairly new Dell Ubuntu box I can fully build the haiku.image in 13 minutes. It takes hours on my older BeOS box. I find that for most things testing in a VM is easier. Though working on apps like ShowImage by building for and testing on BeOS is easier in that case. But you still need to test those on Haiku itself too. I recently wrote a detailed email about how get a Haiku development environment set up on Ubuntu Feisty. I will clean this up and post it on the web-site soon too. Ryan
Linux++ Getting makebootable to work was a bit of a nightmare though. :) Euan
