Is this relying solely on the Bjoystick implementation ? because the xbo360 controller has 2 analog sticks and the driver only exposes 1 of those and the other is treated as a left right.
Otherwise it does work with the madcatz controller now. If it can't be included with Haiku for whatever reason plase host it on Haikuware. Maybe it'll stimulate some game developers to get joysticks working !
