Since wireless support is such a huge endeavour, $750 won't get us very far. Fixing a number of the most tenacious alpha blocking bugs, however, seems like a realistic goal.

Now, since these kind of bugs are apparently very tough to pin down and fix, possible takers of the bounty are probably the usual suspects of the core devs on this list. So, is there anyone who is able to tackle those bugs, take some time off from work for a week or two, to go on a serious bug safari? Those $750 could probably be raised by a few hundred dollars if needed.

Or do you think solving these alpha blocking bugs isn't conductive to a short term bounty?
Are there other things to be considered?

Since many of the core Haiku developers are freelancers, I guess that money can indeed help to be able to spend time on the issue earlier. But since at least I would then see this as work, and most of the remaining bugs are supposedly very time intensive, this could easily get pretty expensive. Those bugs will be taken down anyway, sooner or later, though, so I'm not sure this would be a good investment :-)

You may actually be able to hit two with one strike: 2706 and 2197. :-)

Best regards,
-Stephan
