Since many of the core Haiku developers are freelancers, I guess that 
money can indeed help to be able to spend time on the issue earlier.
But since at least I would then see this as work, and most of the 
remaining bugs are supposedly very time intensive, this could easily 
get pretty expensive. Those bugs will be taken down anyway, sooner or 
later, though, so I'm not sure this would be a good investment :-)
