You folks really should checkout cpUtil. There are some great tools there (and documentation! at least a little) Check it out: http://www.thedos.org/foxia/utils/ <http://www.thedos.org/foxia/utils/> Regards, Alex Johnson System Products - Invensys Systems, Inc. 10707 Haddington Houston, TX 77043 713.722.2859 (office) 713.722.2700 (switchboard) 713.932.0222 (fax) ajohnson@xxxxxxxxxxx <mailto:ajohnson@xxxxxxxxxxx> -----Original Message----- From: Scott, Walter [SMTP:wscott@xxxxxxxxx] Sent: Tuesday, November 06, 2001 10:41 AM To: 'foxboro@xxxxxxxxxxxxx' Subject: Re: [foxboro] getpars tool Where would you find tool -----Original Message----- From: Steve Rigby [mailto:sr@xxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Tuesday, November 06, 2001 7:56 AM To: foxboro@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: [foxboro] getpars tool Hi all, Back in the old days when I had a Foxboro to play with I used a tool called repa50. This used the CP workfile (no load change on the CP). You could get ALL parameters from ALL blocks. Even from ECB blocks! and then dump it in a text file. It took only 5 minutes heavy AW/AP time to do +/-3000 blocks. The command we use is: getpars -UCP0901 -tCIN -mNM0:%-10.10s -mNM1:%-10-10s=20 but, although the command is correct, we got NA for NM0 and NM1. Any idea? Regads Claudio A.
