Thanks Alex, You are a great promoter of our products and services. This forum is also a great source of information for me and others. All contribute freely (as much as time and temper allow). You certainly didn't ruffle my feathers. Sorry if my tone made it sound that way. The PER mechanism on the GCS website (http://support.ips.invensys.com) is the best way to bring those suggestions forward. I know that they are reviewed and there is a budget each year for PERs. I also know that there are improvements to the FDSI software planned so PERs are really appropriate. As for the current software, drop a line to iasdi@xxxxxxxxxxxx and get the manuals and ask about your problem. You never know what might happen. Alex, I'm sorry if I ruffled any Invensys feathers and maybe I didn't' since emails don't transmit expression. It was not my intention, I assure you. The throughput of the FBM 232/233 is amazing compared to the old INT30s, multiple driver capability or rewriting the EthernetIP driver to offer a SLC choice in the DVOPT would be a welcome addition to Foxboro's arsenal.
