You certainly didn't ruffle my feathers. Sorry if my tone made it sound that
way.

The PER mechanism on the GCS website (http://support.ips.invensys.com) is the
best way to bring those suggestions forward. I know that they are reviewed and
there is a budget each year for PERs. I also know that there are improvements
to the FDSI software planned so PERs are really appropriate.

As for the current software, drop a line to iasdi@xxxxxxxxxxxx and get the
manuals and ask about your problem. You never know what might happen.

Alex,

I'm sorry if I ruffled any Invensys feathers and maybe I didn't' since
emails don't transmit expression. It was not my intention, I assure you.

The throughput of the FBM 232/233 is amazing compared to the old INT30s,
multiple driver capability or rewriting the EthernetIP driver to offer a SLC
choice in the DVOPT would be a welcome addition to Foxboro's arsenal.

Russ
