Exchange server NIC ( 3COM 3C905C-TX )was the problem , don't know why and how
while it was working with all other tasks like network browsing, drive mapping
, IIS ( FTP and HTTP both directions ) ... maybe it was the NIC driver ??

Anyway, I 've Replaced it with ( 3COM 3C905B-TX ), and everything is working
fine !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have you ruled out network connectivity issues or name resolution issues?

Dear All,

Anyone seen this before ?

Microsoft outlook clients when trying to connect to the Exchange corporate
server it freezes for a while ( about 10 to 20 seconds ) then it says server is
not available ( try again or work offline ) and when choosing try again it
connects to the server , and when first pressing the send/receive button it
freezes again for about the same period . and then it works all fine as long as
the outlook is still running .

Its the first time to see such problem on my server since 3 years ago..

Note: it happened after installing the last critical updates published by MS
last week, and tried to uninstall them , but still same problem...

Any Idea what causes this freezing and delay ??

Thanks in advance for your help...
Sherif
