Is your DNS setup correctly? Almost sounds like you are having a problem
with AD and your users, not Outlook itself.

Andrew

Subject: [exchangelist] Outlook Clients with E2K login delay & freeze

http://www.MSExchange.org/

Dear All,

Anyone seen this before ?

Microsoft outlook clients when trying to connect to the Exchange
corporate server it freezes for a while ( about 10 to 20 seconds ) then
it says server is not available ( try again or work offline ) and when
choosing try again it connects to the server , and when first pressing
the send/receive button it freezes again for about the same period . and
then it works all fine as long as the outlook is still running .

Its the first time to see such problem on my server since 3 years ago..

Note: it happened after installing the last critical updates published
by MS last week, and tried to uninstall them , but still same problem...

Any Idea what causes this freezing and delay ??

Thanks in advance for your help...

Sherif
