So you don't install security updates on your machines?!? Also you have just
told the internet your machines are unpatched? IMHO this is irresponsible. As
system administrators, we need to ensure our systems are patched. If you think
this is a problem with a Microsoft Patch, you can call PSS. If it is the
result of a patch issue, then there should not be a charge.

My point of view is , as long as the server is working Perfect , no need to
install other things , because its Microsoft , that is

Subject: [exchangelist] Outlook Clients with E2K login delay & freeze

Dear All,

Anyone seen this before ?

Microsoft outlook clients when trying to connect to the Exchange corporate
server it freezes for a while ( about 10 to 20 seconds ) then it says server is
not available ( try again or work offline ) and when choosing try again it
connects to the server , and when first pressing the send/receive button it
freezes again for about the same period . and then it works all fine as long as
the outlook is still running .

Its the first time to see such problem on my server since 3 years ago..

Note: it happened after installing the last critical updates published by MS
last week, and tried to uninstall them , but still same problem...

Any Idea what causes this freezing and delay ??

Thanks in advance for your help...

Sherif
