The connector is a hold over from the IT group that originally installed the servers, who are no longer involved in this client. (Put they did leave a mess.) OK, so after 5 PM tonight I will remove that connector and check all again. BTW, about 2 years ago mail stopped flowing out because of a problem with that connector. Restarted the server and started flowing again.
