Jeff,

In Outlook XP (2002):

Hit CTRL+Shift+B to open the Address Book.
Go to Tools, Options and you will find the Addressing tab where you can
change
"Show this address list first" to whatever you want.

Regards,

Wes

< Go to tools select services and select addressing and change the setting
as required. >
Outlook XP does not have 'services' as a selection under 'tools.'

You will also have to do the following
On each outlook right click on the contacts select properties select Outlook
address book and tick 'show this folder as an e-mail address book'

The contacts view is a valid listing in the Address Book, it just has to be
selected every time the user wants to view the names inside of it because
the default view shows the Global Address List upon opening the Address
Book.

I'm assuming this has to be a registry hack at this point

Thanks for all your help.

Hello

Does anyone know how to change the default address book listing in Outlook.
We're using Outlook 2002 and Exchange 2000 SP 3. Currently the default comes
up showing the Global Access List, my users want their own to show up first.
TIA
