Unfortunately I can't seem to figure out a way to overlap the arrow
with the text without it looking like a mess at smaller sizes.Noticing
that a lot of other apps where using the yellow arrow (GTK_STOCK_UNDO)
instead of the green, I thought it would be a good idea to go that
route also.At least this one is less Gnome-ish and more like the stock
gtk icons. This time I sent it in png format because jpeg doesn't
support transparencies.Wanted to convert it over to svg but the Gimp
wouldn't do it and Inkscape is just too limited (not to mention very
unstable). No matter what I did the image suffered from the
jaggies.Perhaps you'll have better luck converting it.Really wish that
linux based graphics apps where as easy to use and understand as
Paintshop Pro and Photoshop. :) Like before, tell me what you think and
we'll go from there.
i'm impressed. that's really good work. what's now missing is to
unsharpen the image. this will make it look even more like a stock icon.
i suggest to make the triangle (transparent area) in the A a bit bigger,
so it is more visible at small sizes. for the same reason, i suggest to
move the arrow and the underscore a bit further away from the A.
i'm not sure if it is possible to convert .png to .svg, because .svg
images are actually XML files that are rendered on "view time" in the
requested size.
i'll search for a tool to do it.
keep up the good work!

I agree that the unsharp mask filter needs to be run especially after
the gaussian blur.It takes time to get it just right .Too much and the
icon looks like crap scaled down.Unfortunately I didn't have time to
play with it.
Everything else that you might want changed can be corrected by omitting
the drop shadow all together. If I change the size of the triangle in the
A then, scaled down, the image looks deformed.
Also agree that everything does need to be spaced a bit more.Just wanted
to know if you approved of this version before I did any more work on
it.No sense in wasting time on something that may not be used.
Strangest thing is no one else seem to use a rename icon.Looked all over
the net and couldn't find one. There are some apps that use icons that
where intended for something else but they never quite fit into place.
Will try to do some more work on it tonight and post the results.
