Perhaps what you heard was that the transcribers are not supposed to try to
hyphenate a long word at the end of one of the syllables to save space anymore,
but if it is a compound word that already has hyphens in it, it can be divided
between lines. I hope I said that in a way that makes sense.

In UEB there is no dividing/hyphenation of words between lines.

Subject: [duxuser] Question re: dividing hyphenated words between lines I
have noticed that DBT doesn't automatically split hyphenated words between
lines. Usually I leave it that way, but we are working on "James and the Giant
Peach" which has a character named Old-Green-Grasshopper. DBT keeps pushing the
entire name (22 cells) to a new line instead of splitting it between lines,
leaving big holes in the text. Is there a formatting command or setting that I
can use to get it to split the name after one of the hyphens? Best wishes,
