Technically you're right. However, when a word is hyphenated, as in this free
list message, it is OK to separate it between two lines.  I can't quote the
chapter and verse, but, as with almost all rules, there are exceptions.

I thought I read somewhere, perhaps in the book for literary braille
transcription, that there is no dividing of words at the end of lines in UEB.
If I'm wrong, please forgive me.

Subject: [duxuser] Question re: dividing hyphenated words between lines

I have noticed that DBT doesn't automatically split hyphenated words between
lines. Usually I leave it that way, but we are working on "James and the Giant
Peach" which has a character named Old-Green-Grasshopper. DBT keeps pushing the
entire name (22 cells) to a new line instead of splitting it between lines,
leaving big holes in the text. Is there a formatting command or setting that I
can use to get it to split the name after one of the hyphens?
