Amen to that! And as far as the rules go ... apparently braille rules aren't
entirely set in stone, now are they? Seems like they're always changing. I
would think that a reader could make sense if a hyphenated combination of words
like that were divided between lines. Just sayin' ...

Interesting, this business of hyphenation. It used to be that hyphenation
was encouraged to the point of obsession, the idea being to use every
possible space. Now long phrases like second-in-command are not divided
and can result in a waste of space. Print material for the most part has
eliminated spac-saving hyphens, wasting space in those documents also. I
woner if the day will ever come when common sense instead of hard-and-fast
rules will prevail in these matters.
