Thanks for the heads up BEV ...

I looked into it as I can still cancel the free trial before Sunday Dec 25, but when I rang the Ancestry people, they said I was already on the special discount deal coming in via the DNA testing ...

I'm on the world-wide option which was usually around $479 and I'm on it for the first year for $299.99 which isn't quite half price but better than a poke in the eye ...

He said there were no other discount offers going at the moment.
