<rant>It is a Government thing, this Library of ours. It has IT experts
on its staff. They have to justify their existence, not to us, but to
nameless bureaucrats who are busy empire-building.
I have no doubt this new interface with the public is bright and shiny
and up-to-date. Too bright, too shiny to be useful to us grubby
proletarians.
I also have no doubt the screams of the general public will be treated
with the same disdain bureaucrats have always shown towards the general
public.</rant>
