Hey, djx. I have superior drummer 2.0 and the drumkit from hell expansion for easy drummer. The dfh expansion won?t install without easy drummer, which I don?t have. Do you have easy drummer? If you don?t, how did you install the easy drummer expansions without it? -- Damon Fibraio screen names -- aol: dfibraio...msn dfibraio@xxxxxxxxxxxx skype: dfibraio personal music site: http://www.keyboardguy.com. Afterwards I installed the add ins I have, and after having someone help me register the plugin (which is completely inaccessible) I reregistered the add ins. Then when the superior drummer interface loads up, you use jaws cursor, and on the line that reads new york abatar studio 1 or something along those lines, you right-click and a list of all the installed sets shows up. Then I pressed enter on the 1 I wanted and away you go! Now what I want to find out is how to switch indevidual kit parts, like a different kick, different snare, etc. HTH, D!J!X! _____ From: ddots-l-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:ddots-l-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Kevin Reeves Sent: Saturday, April 04, 2009 3:32 PM To: ddots-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [ddots-l] Re: superior 2.0 How do you get the addons to work with 2.0? Damon and I were wondering that? Is it because you already have EZ drummer installed? Or did you get it to work a different way? _____ From: ddots-l-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:ddots-l-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of D!J!X! Was taking a look this morning but didn't get much far. And yes, the interface is now much like EZDrummer, and my extra addons work with it! That's a plus. thx, D!J!X! _____ From: ddots-l-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:ddots-l-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Kevin Reeves Sent: Saturday, April 04, 2009 9:39 AM To: ddots-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [ddots-l] Re: superior 2.0 Without hotspot support, we can change the kits that are loaded into the system, change stick type, kick beater, turn snares on and off, and set various velocity and bleed settings. Once I learn hsc I will first start with getting the ability to change kit peaces and tuning them. Then, I will work on other tabs in the plugin settings. _____ From: ddots-l-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:ddots-l-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Richard Beausoleil Sent: Friday, April 03, 2009 10:40 AM To: ddots-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [ddots-l] Re: superior 2.0 For now, What are we able to do in the full installation? Do we only have access to the presets? But, I had a sighted friend who reads me the screen which JAWS in fact couldn't. The problem was first, when I start the real installation, it was hard to get the installation button. So, my sighted friend clicked the installation button with the mouse. Secondly. I was installing the basic one, but, in order to install all the five CDs, I had to select the full installation option. That is it. Now, how do we access the kicks, snares, and others? I have got one drum kits, which has regular kick, snare, hi hat and tomtoms. Which installation did you choose? If you chose the full install, then it would take you through all 5 disks. You can choose a compact install that is only 4 gigs, which I think would consist of that first DVD. Also, there are 2 installation panels that pop up. 1 is to install the application itself, which is a standard dialogue box. The second is to install all audio content. That panel looks rather different. Damon said he was successful in accessing that with Jaws. However, I had some problems with it and had to get sighted assistance. I think that you may have to get sighted assistance to help you through that. The install should take at least 45 minutes. Hope this helps.
