OK, I'll give the set up idea a try. I think I upgraded properly and I'm able
to record and play projects and jaws seems to working alright when using the CT
program in sonar. I turned off the unecessary meters as instructed by Bill.
Thanks for your help, I'll get back to you after I follow some of your ideas.

Go through some of the obvious things first.
And when you do, list here all you've done so we don't cover the same ground
again.
Make sure your window settings are correct, refer to the CT setup files.
There are two of them that you should go through which are in the setup menu
for CT.
Then go through lesson 57 of CT which deals with troubleshooting playback and
recording problems

I could use some help from experienced guys out there. I just upgraded
to CTW 5.2 and jaws 7.0. I am getting a poor response lots of dropping out and
slow performance when I open a project and try to do some work.
Prior to the upgrade the software performed much better an occasional
dropout but nothing like this.
I would greatly appreciate any ideas, I'm a novice so I'm pretty lost.
Almost forgot and this might be the most important piece, I also
upgraded the pc's memory to 1.3 gig. I'm not having any problems in Outlook or
any other programs.
